Sometimes you can’t help but hate your job; sometimes you can’t help but love your job.
The latter seems to be poignantly correct with my current jobs.

The auction house I work for, Bonhams & Butterfields, had an auction just this past Sunday. As per usual they had some amazing pieces, however it was this one that happened to catch my attention. This iconic piece was sold off for $2,700. Bob seems to still have that magic touch.

They call it lacma

Monday around the 14th hundred hour I took a little trip downtown and no, this does not have anything to do with a holding cell. Instead this has everything to do with Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

SoCal: Southern California Art of the 1960s and 70s from LACMA’s Collection

Socal was the first exhibit I walked. I must say whatever those hippies were on, well it must have been something worth taking. The light manipulation and crude objects used to portray stimulating images of both ones emotions and mind. Truly spectacular.

I also viewed the permanent collection which was just brilliant to say the least.

Art such as this makes my mind race, only without a finish line in sight.

and so LA’s bright lights have dimmed.
It seems my mind and time have teamed up to once again portray a visage that is all to familiar to the manipulative mind. LA is indeed a sneaky girl, I just never thought I’d be in her clutch. Yet here I am, all to vulnerable? Ah perhaps it is so; so it goes.

wanna have a makeout party?

They put on a fine show in that small confined space they so boldly tagged as the stage. Excellent music, lovely boys and a singer with remarkable hair. What more to say?

Well they played prior to thee makeout party and cupcakes were gorged upon among the crowd. Their exuberant amount of energy was adapted by all making for a fantastic show.

Really a city through the eyes of a vagabond is only as wondrous as it’s inhabitants devise it to be.
